Modest Womens Swimwear
A beach holiday can spell out panic for some women, causing them to go into a buying frenzy for the most modest women’s swimwear that does nothing for their figure. With so many types and designs available today, swimsuits for more conservative women do not have to look plain and unattractive at all. Traditionally, women who do not have enough guts to don a bikini would immediately opt for the conventional one-piece bathing suit. Oftentimes, as the traditional one-piece design does not draw admiring glances the way two-piece suits usually do, women grow to feel even more insecure about the way they look in a swimsuit.
Recent innovations in swimwear designs have reinvented the way a typical one-piece would look. Nowadays, there are cut-outs and maillots that changed the way women feel about beachwear. While these pieces allow women to bare just enough skin to be comfortable, they also strategically highlight the parts of the body that women may find very flattering.
Combining comfort and style
Aside from maillots, there are two-piece suits that give more freedom of movement while hiding body parts that a number of women do not feel like showing. The most common problem areas are tummies and the derriere. A type of two-piece bathing suit that addresses these concerns is the tankini. A tankini consists of a top that covers the midriff. While tankinis may come with a string bikini bottom or high-cut leg designs, more modest women may go for boy legs. These are swimwear cut low on the thighs, allowing the entire pelvic area to be shielded from sight. Some bathing suits may come with wrap-arounds similar to a bandana worn around the hips or short ruffled skirts that cover the bikini bottom underneath.
There are also two-piece swimsuits that come with a banded spandex cloth worn around the hips, which look as if you are wearing a miniskirt for swimming. Some designers even go as far as making boleros out of Lycra, so you can cover up a more revealing bikini top when you go out of the water. Other two-piece suits come with a detachable overall-style front that allows more conservative women to connect the top and bottom by attaching the piece to buttons sewn in on the strap and waistband of the suit. Women no longer have to worry about donning a bathing suit. Neither should they look and feel plain nor brassy when wearing one.
